File Requirements

Our vinyl cutters operate using vector-based files, which means your artwork must be clean and scalable.

Accepted formats:

• Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
• SVG (.SVG)

If you’re not sure whether your file is usable, we’re happy to review it before production.

Design Guidelines (Important)

Cut vinyl works best with simple, bold designs.

• Minimal detail is ideal
• Avoid very thin lines, tiny text, or highly intricate artwork
• The cutter uses a blade, so designs with too many small pieces may not weed or install cleanly

If your artwork is too detailed or doesn’t translate well to cut vinyl—especially at smaller sizes—we may recommend switching to a printed, laminated, die-cut sticker instead to ensure the final product looks professional and holds up long-term.
